The main information required is the frequency of payment, which is self explanatory, the gross pay (before any deductions have been made from the wages) including any SMP, SAP, SPP and sick pay.
The final item is the tax code, use exactly the same code as appears on the payslip excluding M1 or W1 at the end if it. The calculator can handle: no tax - NT; basic rate - BR; D & K codes as well as the more usual standard suffix code - i.e. 647L.
