The reclaiming formulas:
SSP
if 13% of the gross NI paid in the tax month is less than than the SSP paid, the difference between the two can be reclaimed
SMP - SAP - SPP
if total gross NI contributions over the previous tyax year are equal to or less than £45,000 100% plus 3% compensation can be reclaimed
if total gross NI contributions over the previous tax year are greater than £45,000 only 92% can be reclaimed with no compensation
